Crafting Prize from Nikki

 Hey, this is the prize I won from Nikki when I took part in the Blog Hop for Crafting Cafe.....the tray wasnt included. lol

There is 2 Boofle sheets of A4 diecut toppers...Tatty Teddy A4 card kit.... CLANGERS Deco sheet (I actually have that)... the other one I dont know who made it, sorry. lol

Here we have Daisy and Dandelion die cut deco and patterned papers, metallic flutterdies toppers, 2 sheets of pyramage (one has Anita on it and the other Crafting.co.uk), Christmas stamps-the alphabet, 2 packs of decorative papers from express yourself diy, some patterned papers, Hot diggity dog elements toppers and Papermania adhesive shimmer dots.

 these last two pics show Papermania Dew drops, Tatty Teddy pick and Mix and coloured stickers, Anita mini dimensions, A5 Country Companions paper pack, K&Company embossed stickers and Papermania Elements in black and gold.......I LOVE IT ALL.

Just something I made.

Wellington.....been out in the garden watering the flowers....not that we need any watering up in Scotland. lol 

Heartwarmers.......this just wasnt working for me and Id been at it for 2 hours trying to decide what looked good.....decided to take a break and look for some inspiration but ended up playing Farmville. lol.....went back to it and it just came together.....quite pleased with it in the end. Its one of the 'slushy' verses....my step dad had asked me to make a card for my mum from him.....not a problem I said. LOL....ended up making a few different styles cause she isnt really a 'cute' person. lol

Elegant Ladies

I was never a fan of CD roms although I had bought a few. These are Elegant Ladies 2 and are produced by Fee J Designs or Jammi Pandas as they are now know. Fiona Ferguson was on Create and Craft one day and I fell in love with her designs so bought some...never used them till now. Im not a lover of cutting things out but decided to try as some crafters were doing amazing things with the graphics. Im now nearly hooked. Nearly, because Im still not liking the cutting out. Im hoping to solve this problem soon with a new purchase so am saving hard for it. The lady in the pink/crimson was my first attempt.....I didnt deco the flowers as there was quite a bit of fidgety cutting. The blue one however, I did add a bit more to is and was quite impressed with the outcome. Once the printer has new ink there will be no stopping me. :o)

Blog Hop

Today I did my first Blog Hop as a commentor (sound like Gary Linekar lol) and it was faily painless and easy......might even participate once I figure out all this first. lol

Bottle Bag

I had bought a bottle bag that looked like a suit and decided it was too nice for a bottle. I sliced it open to put it on a card...namely one I was making for my sons 18th. I had cut it in half so that I could stick it to the card and use it as a pouch. I then put the back of the bag on the back of the card, lined up with the bit on the front. I made a special envelope style thing so that money or a gift voucher could be put into it and then slipped into the pouch. Turned out quite good and I was rather impressed with myself. Here are the pics.(apologise for the blurr......I had broke my wrist and had pins and stuff sticking out of it at the time....Im right handed and that was the wrist I broke so it was a bit tricky to make and had problems holding the camera still too)

Loo Roll Book

I recently found a tutorial for a book made from the inside part of the toilet roll. It looked so good that I had to try it. My finished product wasnt as good as the one made by the person who did the tutorial but it turned out well. I made it for a friends daughter who just had a baby girl at 7.05am today (04/05/12) and she weighed in at 8lbs. Im pretty chuffed for both 'mummy' and 'granny' lol
